My styles range from folk to hard rock, with heavy power-pop leanings -- Big Star, not Green Day.
I bought this strap at Sam Ash on Sunset Blvd. for $30.
The skulls convey a great attitude but don't look overly metal -- in fact, they actually look kind of cute and a female friend I've been jamming with fell in love with the design and got one for herself. More importantly, however, I like to be able to use all my straps for both acoustic and electric guitars, and my guitar arsenal includes both a thin-bodied SG and a huge jumbo 12-string acoustic. This strap is sufficiently long and adjustable to be put on any of my guitars, and it's hands-down the most comfortable strap I own. The surfaces on both sides are supple, and the edges are rounded out and feel great.
Nothing except that it's not the cheapest strap you can buy -- but I wouldn't say it's on the high end of the scale. There's also one nagging concern -- the version of this strap sold on Musician's Friend and Jodi Head's own site is not the same as mine. My friend bought one for herself only to find out that the one she got had fewer graphics and one of those annoying "thinner" extensions on one end, rather than a nice adjustable buckle. The one I have is more comfortable and nicer-looking.
Very high -- the classiest and most visually pleasing strap I've ever bought.
When I finally found this strap, I was at the end of a two-year hunt for a good strap. Most are too expensive, too rough to feel comfortable, or simply don't look good. Jodi Head's straps all look great, and the ones I've seen are all very nice to the touch. Prices fluctuate, however -- Jodi Head's own website list a higher price than Musician's Friend or Sam Ash, so be sure to shop around. Other than that, Highly recommended
